In honor of National Women in Sports Day, the Phillies Urban Youth Academy will be hosting a panel discussion on Wednesday, February 7th from 6:30-8PM at Citizens Bank Ballpark. National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) began in 1987 as a special day in our nation's capital to recognize women's sports. The day united premiere organizations and elite female athletes to bring national attention to the promise of girls and women in sports.

The panelists this year will include Ashlyn Sullivan, Host and Reporter for NBC Sports Philadelphia, Dr. Michelle A. Noreski, Sports Medicine Specialist in the Bone & Joint Institute, Camryn Glenn, Athletic Operations Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania and current UYA softball coach, and Kerrie Kortmann McClure, Director of Marketing, Athletes Unlimited.  Hear from them about their experiences in sports, their career paths, what they currently do and so much more!
